A kitchen is the most coordinated room in the house, and coordination is what makes or breaks it.
Kitchens
Cabinetry, stone, appliances, plumbing and lighting all have to be resolved against each other, and most of those decisions have long lead times. A kitchen goes wrong when they are made in sequence instead of together.
We resolve the layout, the appliance package and the millwork drawings before anything is ordered, so the stone template and the cabinet install are not the moment a problem is discovered.
Kitchens on their own, or inside a renovation
Most of the kitchens in our portfolio were part of a whole interior renovation, which is the cleanest way to do one, because walls, windows and services can all move.
A kitchen on its own is a different project with tighter constraints and a shorter schedule. Both are work we take.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?
The build is usually the shorter half. Cabinetry and stone carry long lead times, and ordering only starts once the drawings are final, so the schedule is set mostly by decisions rather than by construction. We give a realistic timeline in writing with the scope.
Can the kitchen be used during the work?
No, not while it is being rebuilt. Where the layout allows a temporary kitchen elsewhere in the house we set that up as part of the plan.
Do you move walls and windows as part of a kitchen renovation?
Frequently. Where a wall is structural it can still come out, it just brings a beam, a permit and an inspection with it. That is worth knowing before the layout is settled rather than after.
