Mission Canyon
A Mediterranean home in the foothills, rebuilt around steel, oak, and light.
The project
In the Mission Canyon foothills, this Mediterranean home was reworked from the inside out. Arched steel windows draw the hillside in, white oak runs underfoot, and plaster walls hold the afternoon light. The material story stays quiet and consistent. Hand glazed tile, honed marble, and brass fittings recur from the kitchen through the baths, and reclaimed wood doors anchor the older rooms.
